Hello everyone!
Today I'll continue with my personal review of the saga of the decade, most discussed, written by E.L. James.
I'm
talking of course about "Fifty Shades", and specifically "Fifty
shades Darker", according to the title of the three books that make
up the saga. If you missed the review of the first title "Fifty Shades of Grey" here's the link: Fifty shades of Grey
Let's start with the plot:
We left our protagonists in a tremendous separation. She
suffers more than ever, who knows about he (remember that the book is written in
first person by Ana, so we can't know exactly what Christian feels). The separation was desired by Ana because she couldn't bear more Christian's too pushed fantasies. Ana takes a job as an assistant at a small publishing house and tries to
go her way, but he does everything to get closer to her and at the end (of
course) they back together. Now,
however, there is a problem with the new head of Ana, which proves
affable for the first time then uncover how he really is. As if that were not enough ghosts of the past to return Christian to create new problems for the couple...
Considerations:
This
second book is characterized by a more detailed history, there is more
substance, a little surprise for certain events that you wouldn't
expect, and the endless pages of descriptions for nothing demure that
were at the center of the first book have halved, which in my opinion is a great thing. The reading flows as always in a pleasant way, without having to blush every two pages! In fact, in this second book we are able to perceive better the skill of the writer in the transport us into the head of Ana. The
only flaw is the end, this time it is far from ugly, but imaginable to
die, even if it leaves us with a Hamlet-like question: the writer in
fact shot the best shots in this book (or so we think), then one wonders what will happen in the last chapter of the saga,
as has happened all you can and there is nothing else to tell... Wrong!
For this chapter is all about, a brief review will follow the last
title "Fifty shades Freed", and as promised, small curiosity!
Bye to all and see you next time!
Here's the last title:
Fifty shades Freed
